>> FIELD ENGINEER
Job Title: Field Engineer
Department: Engineering
Supervises: Technicians
Reports To: Project Coordinator
Job Summary
The field engineer is responsible for hardware installation and maintenance. He/she should be able to read electronic schematics and use electronic test equipment and ensure successful installation of all integrated equipment and devices. He/she participates in site installation and system commissioning, installation hand-over and basic training.
He/she will compile all engineering documents for each project –material/equipment requisitions, repair requests, as-built drawings and project status reports. As the Company's representative on site, he/she is expected to remain professional at all times and project a positive image for the Company.
May supervise the engineering technicians and be required to design basic circuitry and draft sketches for clarification of details using computer aided design equipment.
Key Responsibilities:Install and pre-test AV electronics and wire into equipment racks/furniture on site, including DVD players, switchers, video interfaces, control systems devices, connectors etc.Install peripheral AV electronics into spaces e.g. projectors, cameras, displays, loudspeakers and microphonesWire and test all on site equipment including racks, connector plates and peripheral equipmentTest hardware and software components of installed devices to ensure proper installation and performanceTest power sources of installed devices to ensure proper installation and performance in order to identify any leakage, surge, lighting and/or static problemsTest wiring components of installed devices to ensure proper installation and performanceObserve environment surrounding installed devices to identify any potential problem areas, including sources of dirt, dust, noise and temperature changes.Identify and communicate verbally and in writing, any performance problems and their subsequent solutions to the Project CoordinatorTroubleshoots cable and equipment malfunction, diagnosis and resolves problems encountered during installation of video terminals, circuits, projectors, PA Systems, cameras and AV equipment.Supervise technicians by reviewing activities and providing regular feedback and ensure adherence to Company's standards and proceduresPrepares progress reports for each projectCompile all engineering documents, materials requisition, repair requests, as built drawings, for each projectParticipate in developing and maintaining Engineering department standards and budgets.
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Knowledge of practical application of engineering- application of principles, techniques, procedures, equipment on the job

Job Title: Store Assistance
Department: Operation
Reports to: Project manager
Job Summary
Using the computerized store inventory as a primary tool, the Store Assistant will assist in receiving, storing and issuing materials, supplies and equipment for installation. He compiles records of supply, verifies supplies as listed on requisition and compiles report of expenditure and returned materials/equipment. He performs basic inventory records, purchases, supplies/equipment delivery and minor maintenance on work tools. He assists in routine enquiries on stock issuance and prepares weekly stock reports.
In addition, he is responsible for maintaining a safe, neat orderly and clean storage area (inside and outside the store room/warehouse).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving, stocking, delivering, sorting and dispensing of materials and equipment; makes deliveries of materials and equipment as necessary.
- Keeps necessary record and assist in physical inventory taking: inspects conformity of supplies and equipment according to specification.
- Assembles all materials, supplies and equipment for projects; accepts and returns to stock all materials, supplies and equipment returned on completion of jobs.
- Assist in Inspecting items and all equipment returned on completion of jobs
- Assist in taking the quarterly and annual physical inventory of the store
- Assist in coordinating and reporting stock requisitions and stock purchases to maintain adequate inventory of materials and supplies
- Establishes, maintains and updates files, records and other documents; develops and maintains data, and perform routine analysis and calculations in the processing of data for recurring stock requirements
- Cleans work area
- Receives stock and confirms authencity of physical items with purchase order.
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Knowledge of inventory procedures and control
- Ability to prioritize and plan workload for daily, weekly and monthly intervals
- Ability to shelve, store and distribute materials and equipments
- Ability to maintain good physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to operate motor vehicles, or other material handling equipment
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to job functions.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic calculations, operate and enter information in a computerized inventory system.
- Coordinating and Time management skills
Educational Qualification
Minimum of O.N.D, preferably in stores and inventory management or logistics and supply chain management. Key Performance Indicators
- Proficient use of Microsoft office in preparing reports and data entry(word, Excel, access)
- Proficient use of red beam stock inventory for all store transaction and timely submission of reports
- Effective handling of materials and equipments
- Effectiveness of procurement support and quality of project supplies, electrical work tools and other equipment.
- Timely requisition for local materials and equipment
- Ease of accessing inventory records
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ease of retrieving equipment from warehouse.
