Ikoyi Project

During the construction phase of this project, the client being a meticulous and highly organized individual contacted us from the very beginning. He was particular about the caliber of service providers who worked on his project and engaged only those who worked according to international standards.

We conducted a proper needs analysis to ascertain the client’s specific requirements and It was clear that he wanted a befitting design for an entertainment system using the most recent technology in his ultra modern home.

Initially, the client wanted a simple AV system but ended up requesting for automated blinds, a VOIP system, a high-end multi-room audio system, HD distribution, CCTV, and integrated lighting control.

We got involved with the other service providers on the project and were able to liaise with them to provide a seamless system.

WSE designed and installed a highly comprehensive Control 4 system which controls AV as well as all the major electrical equipment including automated blinds, security systems and all the lighting systems around the house.

This first phase of the project included the initial site survey, design and cabling of infrastructure on the site. It also included the running of cables and mounting of back-boxes and speakers. This initial part of the project required extensive involvement and feedback between the design engineer and site manager. Based upon the input from the site manager , we re-designed some solutions to fit the client’s needs.

We ensured every necessary equipment was verified to ensure availability before testing and terminating all cable points. We also installed the speakers and keypads where necessary. The voice and data infrastructure was terminated into the respective ports on the patch panel. This phase of the project made sure the conduit had been individually tested and certified perfect.

The final phase of the project required the field engineer to terminate and connect all necessary equipment with utmost attention to cable management. The downloading of all needed firmware was also done and the client was trained on how to use the system. He was also given a manual after which the project was commissioned and ready for use.

The client was excited about the system’s functionalities and commented on how seamless the system worked with the user interface. He was also glad that he got good value for his money and was willing to recommend WSE to handle further projects he had.
